Hotwax Carnival Mas

Founded by Denis George in 1979, Hotwax originally provided DJ services for mas bands in Notting Hill Carnival. In 1993 they became a mas band, and as such they're committed to making as many people as possible masqueraders rather than spectators. Dedicated to promoting innovative carnival design and construction, Hotwax provides an annual mas camp in which costumes are professionally created with considerable attention to detail. We remain true to our grass roots continuing to run a thriving tshirt band that promotes inclusivity and accessibility within carnival!
