Founded as a community organisation, Mas Africa emerged in response to the need to unite African and Caribbean children from an early age. Its aim was to foster mutual understanding by highlighting cultural commonalities and celebrating differences. Over time, Mas Africa evolved into an international movement, organising parades and events that bring people together to appreciate the shared heritage and vibrant diversity of African and Caribbean cultures. Today, Mas Africa operates across the UK and Africa, connecting communities through the expressive medium of Carnival Arts.
