UCOM Carnival – United Colours of Mas Was originally conceptualised back in 2007 by Paul O’Donoghue and Richard Gallimore (Formerly Bacchanal Mas), in 2011 we formally adopted the new brand name “UCOM Carnival” a name which suited the brand and outlook better. UCOM Carnival is a band constantly evolving to bring its masqueraders the most cutting edge in Costume design and concepts, Customer Service, Road Experience and exciting themes empathetic to both traditional and modern techniques. UCOM Carnival have won 1st place in the fun and fantasy adults category countless times, in 2019 we got top score 1st place in Adults fun and fantasy band of the year, Jouvert dutty mas sunday and a Best sound system award in conjunction with Elements Audio and RC1 Audio, UCOM also was one of the first bands to have a full “On the road Concert” sponsored by Alvero Barrington featuring Patrice Roberts, Machel Montano, Motto, Skinny Fabulous, Mr Killa and Teddyson John which was a truly once in a lifetime road experience.
