Seduction City Sound
Seduction City is the first all-female-led sound system that has been based at Jamaica Corner, Notting Hill Carnival Led by Lady Banton who first appeared in Carnival as a sound system in 1994 as Mellotone. For over 30 years our platform has existed to preserve sound system culture and remains dedicated to cultural excellence, heritage, and future-focused talent. Our sound system is deeply embedded within Carnival’s history and continues to play a vital role in preserving sound system culture while actively creating pathways for the next generation of women in music and live events technology. Beyond live events, Lady Banton and Majestic Lady's cultural contribution extends into education and advocacy, working to keep this sound system culture alive. Chantz Dee is a rising force, known for her Genre Bending sets and technical precision. Her performance credits include working alongside both national and internationally recognised artists and brands . Chantz has worked in A&R, scouting and developing future talent, as well as a DJ tutor, Music events manager, and Event coordinator. Mentored by Lady Banton, she has developed the technical and operational skills required to build and run a large-scale sound system, and now represents the next generation of the Seduction City sound legacy.
