Panorama – The UK National Steelband Competition 2026 – was once again a wonderful wall of colour and sound that is like no other event.
Taking place in its traditional home of Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park the Saturday before Carnival, Junior Panorama started the show. After months of rehearsals, these young musicians displayed their incredible talents to compete for the title of Junior Panorama Champions 2026.
And of course the evening crescendo was the traditional competition. A display of rhythmic sound like nothing else. Unison, joy and togetherness pouring out of every band. Congratulations to all those who took part. You were spectacular.
