With a backdrop of an area inflicted with race riots and growing tensions with political parties actively splintering and dividing communities, in 1966 a small children’s street party with a sole purpose of bringing that community together became Notting Hill Carnival – a beacon that demonstrates the best of community. All are welcome not only for the weekend itself but throughout the year where steel bands play, mas bands create and sound systems bring joy.
This legacy is vital and 60MORE will support its future. This initiative builds on the shoulders of giants. Those who dedicated themselves to the arts they loved and wanted to teach others. By giving their communities the opportunity to create together they allow them to thrive and for people to grow.
60MORE will help Carnival’s art forms to look to a more positive future so that it can further invest in its communities. Help fund the next 60 years.

100% of money raised will be managed and distributed by Carnival Village Trust (1125536) in support of Notting Hill Carnival and Carnival participants.
