LIN KAM ART Sound System Futures and Young Festival and Carnival Producers Programmes

Our flagship training programmes develop the next generation Sound System and production leads at Notting Hill Carnival. The brainchild of Linett Kamala, who was one of first girl DJs to perform at the event in the early 1980s and NHC Ltd Board Director, the programme places an emphasis on leadership, skills and culture.  They develop the next generation to be part of the future legacy and custodians of sound system culture at Notting Hill Carnival and festivals through practical hands-on learning experiences. 

Our programmes have inspired others in the sector to provide similar learning experiences for young people.  LIN KAM ART alumni have been given a foundation for success, with many going on to organise their own events, become brand ambassadors, DJ at festivals, paid members of the LIN KAM ART crew and gain employment in exciting roles with world class artists.
